Committee Charge

Identify, assess and address bicycle and pedestrian travel issues and provide overall guidance for the development of the regional bicycle and pedestrian program. Examples of key issues include safety, convenience, economic development, and access for people with disabilities.

Membership

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Task Force is comprised of advocacy organizations, community groups, businesses, as well as representatives of local, regional and state governments seeking to improve walking and bicycle travel conditions in metropolitan Chicago.

Meetings

CMAP's Bicycle & Pedestrian Task Force meets on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. All meetings are open to the public. See current and archived meeting materials.
