Bicycle and pedestrian project eligibility under MAP-21
Advocacy Advance -- a partnership between the Alliance for Biking & Walking and the League of American Bicyclists -- has created a resource for transportation planners, implementers, and advocates called "Find It, Fund It!<" The interactive search tool provides information about federal funding eligibility for 24 common bicycle and pedestrian project and program types under the new transportation bill, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21). This resource is part of a larger campaign, Navigating MAP-21. The campaign identifies contacts in each state for coordinating efforts and tracking progress implementing MAP-21, and provides resources and learning opportunities to help individuals and organizations better understand the bill and how to develop non-motorized transportation programs under it.
