Alternative Futures: Innovative Transportation
How might transportation technologies improve the mobility of people and goods in the Chicago region by 2050? "Innovative Transportation" is the featured ON TO 2050 Alternative Future in June. Read this memo about how innovation could affect road safety, freight, land use, and other strategically important factors.
You can provide input on all five futures via interactive kiosks, videos, workshops, and forums, along with Twitter and Facebook using #2050BigIdeas. Don't forget to register for the next Alternative Futures forum, "Harnessing Technology for Future Mobility," at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, June 22, hosted and co-sponsored by the Illinois Institute for Technology.
