CMAP, in collaboration with the National Complete Streets Coalition and Active Transportation Alliance, has produced a Complete Streets Toolkit.   Complete Streets is a transportation policy and design approach that requires streets to be planned, designed, operated, and maintained to enable safe, convenient, and comfortable travel and access for all anticipated roadway users, regardless of their age, abilities, or mode of travel.

The Toolkit is intended to serve as a guide for incorporating a Complete Streets approach into local planning, design, and construction processes and documents.
