New Interactive Map with 2010 Census Data
Based on 2010 Census data, the Chicago Tribune has created a new interactive regional map that displays population change from 2000 to 2010 at the census-tract level, searchable by towns and addresses. To learn more about recent population shifts, read therecent Policy Updates blog "Illinois Redistricting Data Released from 2010 Census." CMAP will continue to analyze 2010 Census data in the coming months, and the latest data for northeastern Illinois is available for download at www.cmap.illinois.gov/2010-census. The U.S. Census website also features interactive state maps based on the latest data.
