CMAP regularly offers two-day workshops of intensive but enjoyable ArcGIS 9.2 hands-on training. Attendance at each workshop is limited to five people, each of whom will be provided a computer for the session. Datasets for northeastern Illinois introduce participants to basic vocabulary and project components. The workshop uses customized databases created by CMAP staff. Participants will leave with a workbook and sample CMAP data to practice on "at home."

Participants MUST have a working knowledge of Windows and be comfortable with the use of a mouse.  The small size of the group and the flexible, informal teaching method allow opportunities for plenty of questions and discussion. In addition, workshops can be customized to accommodate the particular interests of participants.

The cost is $350 per person, which includes the manual.  Please note that our trainers are not ESRI-certified, but they have access to local data and a genuine interest in helping you succeed.
