The map linked below shows seasonally adjusted heavy vehicle counts on roads in the Chicago region.  To improve understanding, information relevant to the counts is also provided, such as highway system, truck route designation, and intermodal freight terminals.  Note: The base year for the counts is 2007, the peak of the last economic cycle.
