The Office of Operations in the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) released the 2009 Urban Congestion Trends: How Operations is Solving Congestion Problems brochure. The brochure features trends in congestion over the last three years in 23 urban areas and examples of how transportation agencies are relieving congestion through innovative transportation operations.
