A new report by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) provides examples of validated work zone performance measures and required data for metric calcuation.  The report is designed to assist states’ departments of transportation to understand and use a set of well-defined performance metrics to evaluate the performance of work zones.  The performance measures were created from U.S. work zone projects.
