Planning 1-2-3
: A Step-by-Step Workbook to Writing a Comprehensive Plan in Illinois

Sensible Tools for Healthy Communities : A Decision-Making Workbook for Local Officials, Developers, and Community Leaders

UMDisplayNearly 700 planners, architects, historic preservationists and others interested in the growth and development of Chicago and its environs gathered at the Hyatt Regency Chicago September 24th through 26th, 2009, to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the 1909 Plan of Chicago through mobile workshop sessions, roundtable discussions, and other opportunities for collaboration and discussion.

Many thanks to CMAP's Land Use Committee members and many others who hosted PowerPlanningPalooza tables, led mobile workshop sessions, or otherwise joined the nearly 150 volunteers who contributed to making the 2009 Upper Midwest Planning Conference a once-in-a-hundred-year event.
