Applications Received for CMAP/RTA 2012 Community Planning Program
The application deadline for the CMAP/RTA collaboration on the Community Planning Program was on June 9, 2011. This competitive grant program is for communities in the seven-county region to provide assistance to undertake a balanced, coordinated, and integrated approach to community and transportation planning. CMAP's focus in this program is on the Integration of Transportation and Land Use, while RTA seeks to promote Transit Oriented Development and Local Transit Improvements.
Twenty applications were received, of which ten specifically addressed the CMAP objectives. You can download these ten project applications below, as well as a map [PDF] of all 20 applications. The projects addressing the RTA objectives are available at the RTA website.

In our second call for projects through the Local Technical Assistance (LTA) program, CMAP received over 100 proposals from more than 80 applicants. CMAP's Local Ordinances and Toolkits program provides resources to municipalities interested in pursuing policies that are aligned with GO TO 2040 recommendations.
