Public Kick-off Meeting for Norridge Comprehensive Plan

The Village of Norridge invites all residents, business owners, and other stakeholders in the community to a special planning event on June 15, 2011, to discuss their ideas for the future of Norridge.  With local technical assistance staff funded by a HUD grant, CMAP is helping the Village to create a comprehensive plan that will guide the future development of the community.  An early step in this process is learning about the public's interests and concerns for the future of Norridge.

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, members of the community will join Village leaders at the Estelle Sieb Community Center (7774 W. Irving Park Road) to express their views about what should be addressed in the future planning of Norridge – from shopping and housing options to parks and open space.

Registration starts at 6 p.m.  For more information and to RSVP to this community event, please contact Jessica Simoncelli, Community Outreach Specialist, at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (jsimoncelli@cmap.illinois.gov or 312-386-8631).
