On December 11, 2007, CMAP hosted its second Innovation + Integration summit, this one on the need for a regional approach to the issue of climate change. As a region, we need to take aggressive steps to ensure that our development and infrastructure choices help prepare for anticipated energy shortages and necessary limits on greenhouse gas emissions. This summit was intended to start a dialogue about how the region should respond.
