Predicting job trends in 2050

By 2050, the region's economy will be more concentrated in service-based jobs, including jobs in professional services, health care, and education -- a transformational shift that's already taking place today. Technological advancements will affect most occupations and all skill levels, posing challenges for ensuring a sufficiently educated and skilled workforce, in spite of regional productivity and competitiveness gains.
