Today, the U.S. House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Committee released a new transportation reauthorization proposal. It would authorize approximately $230 billion from the Highway Trust Fund for highway, transit, and highway safety programs over a six-year period. It does not include a gas tax increase.
