North Aurora Comprehensive Plan

In 2012, the Village applied for LTA assistance to update its 2006 Comprehensive Plan. The updated plan will react to significant changes brought about by the economic downturn that followed the release of the 2006 plan. It will emphasize infill strategies, promote non-motorized transportation infrastructure to provide linkages to commercial and recreational centers, incorporate the findings of the Central Fox Valley Homes for a Changing Region study, and build upon the 2008 Riverfront Viability Study to establish the Fox River at State Street as a focal point for community events and recreation.
