The Safe Routes to School (SRTS) National Partnership will issue a new resource guide in June, "Implementing Safe Routes to School in Low-Income Schools and Communities."  As part of the launch of the resource guide, the Partnership is hosting a webinar to highlight some of the promising practices and creative strategies that have been successfully employed in low-income communities.

The free webinar will  be held on Thursday, June 17 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. CDT, and will feature two SRTS experts:

• Bill Swiatek, Senior Planner, Wilmington Area Planning Council, Wilmington, DE
• Christy Filby, parent champion, Ridgewood Elementary School, East Moline, IL
