As of this date, the Transit Program Focus Group is in the final stages of developing its recommended FFY 2012-2016 CMAQ project package. See below for materials from meetings prior to this date.
Release of Final Evaluation Matrix, Transit Projects
CMAP has concluded scoring on the evaluation matrix based on feedback and changes approved at the June 16 meeting.

UPDATED Project Prioritization for Project Selection Committee
The Transit Focus Group will initiate its prioritization of transit projects received for the FY 2012 CMAQ program. A finalized recommended list of projects will be delivered to the CMAQ Project Selection Committee (PSC) by its June 2, 2011 meeting. Below is a tentative schedule for the next steps in this process, which will kick off upon release of the CMAQ FY 2012 Project Application Summary Report, expected no later than mid April:

| Summary Report Release to April 25 | CMAQ project applications for Transit Facility Improvements, Transfer Service and Equipment, Transfer Facilities, and Commuter Parking, will be available for review via a summary report. Hard copies can be requested. TFG member agency will evaluate and rank projects with the understanding that they will not rank their own projects. |
| April 25; May 12 | TFG Project Presentation Meetings –these will be project presentation meeting for members to further explain and clarify aspects of their submitted projects. TFG member agencies will have until early June to submit a prioritized ranking of projects. |
| May 23 | Wrap-Up Meeting |

| Purpose of this meeting is for the TFG members to reveal initial project rankings and rationale and for CMAP staff to provide finalized evaluation and map materials. Some projects may be accepted into final prioritized list by this date. |

| The final TFG list of recommended projects will be prepared for discussion and approval. At this juncture it is unclear whether it will take place via meetings or electronic correspondence. The Agenda for this upcoming Monday March 21, 2011 is now available. The primary of the meeting will be finalization of a Goals - Objectives - Strategies - Evaluation Measures - Plan Basis document for CMAQ project prioritization. Please review the above document and have questions or additional comments or recommendations regarding this attempt at synthesizing your specific recommendations. Thank you for your input toward defining the TFG's project prioritization approach. Please see below for a complete set of meeting minutes from the February 23 meeting.

Meeting Minutes for our initial February 23, 2011 meeting are now available for review. Have any comments, clarifications or corrections ready by the next TFG meeting on March 21. Official agenda packet for the upcoming TFG March 21st meeting will on this site by March 17.
Please complete and provide Goals and Strategies (see 2.25.11 post below for downloadable copies) from your respective agency by this Monday March 14.

The Transit Focus Group Open Document for Goals and Strategies is now available for download; please choose either the Word [DOC] or Adobe version [PDF]. Complete by listing your agencies respective goals, strategies and project screens for use by the Transit Focus Group in its upcoming prioritization process for CMAQ. Return to Jose Rodriguez no later than Monday March 14th.
The next Transit Focus Group meeting is on Monday March 21, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the CMAP offices.
