CMAP Weekly Update, 12-20-13
December 20, 2013
Policy Updates. A new post on the CMAP website describes the structure of several state and local transportation funding programs in Illinois. This is the first in a series of Policy Updates on state transportation revenue sharing with local governments. While CMAP's past research on performance-based funding has focused on the project selection process, the overarching governance and funding of our transportation system also require analysis.
More Updates. The new CMAP site has an overall Updates section with Policy, Weekly, and Legislative updates, among others that you can sort by topic or search. You can also create and save your own custom feed that includes as many or as few topics as you like. For example, this one will provide freight updates.
