Pavement management training for local government staff

CMAP will host a system-wide pavement management training for all past, current, and potential future participants of the municipal pavement management program. The training, by CMAP and AECOM program managers and technical leads, will cover pavement management, pavement preservation, and PAVER™ software, including:

  • CMAP call for projects and how to participate in future programs

  • Pavement management concepts

  • Pavement preservation and repair types

  • Local pavement practices

  • PAVER™ pavement management software training

    • Database setup and inventory update

    • Repair/work history update

    • Pavement inspections

    • Deterioration modeling

    • Maintenance and repair policies and unit pricing

    • Budget planning scenarios

    • Capital improvement plan

Location details

The training will be held in-person over two days on Tuesday, February 6, and Wednesday, February 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will also be a virtual option for those who cannot attend in person. We encourage in-person attendance to facilitate discussions and hands-on training.
