Residents and stakeholders are invited to share thoughts and priorities for the development of the Pilsen and Little Village land use plan at a series of community workshops in June.  The Pilsen neighborhood will host public meetings on June 16 and June 23, 2015, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Dvorak Park (1119 W. Cullerton St., Chicago).  Little Village will host meetings on June 18 and June 25, 2015 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at New Hope Church of God (3048 S. Central Park Ave., Chicago).

Pilsen and Little Village each has its own history, culture, assets, and challenges, but the two Chicago neighborhoods share many similarities. The plan explores issues and opportunities for key land uses in the area such as parks, housing, and commercial and industrial uses and aims to guide development for years to come. The project web page explains the planning process, its benefits, and its goals.
