CMAP will host "The Problem With Water: Regional Flooding and Stormwater Management," the second of a series of Water Resources Forums that seek to follow up on key issues highlighted in Water 2050, the northeastern Illinois regional water supply/demand plan; and GO TO 2040, CMAP's Comprehensive Regional Plan. In the aftermath of the flooding events that engulfed the region last summer, this forum will provide timely information to elected officials, governmental staff, and members of the consultant community on hazard mitigation planning, potential funding sources, and the use of green infrastructure practices for stormwater management. The event is free; however, to facilitate security procedures at the Willis Tower, please respond with your attendance plans to Yesenia Ambriz: yambriz@cmap.illinois.gov or (312) 386-8660.
