Updating the Plan
After more than a year of work, including data collection and analysis and engaging with partners and stakeholders, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) is excited to share a draft of the ON TO 2050 plan update, which is open for public review and comment through Saturday, August 13.
Conditions in the region change each year, which is why CMAP is required to update parts of the long-range, 30-year plan every four years. This process aims to reaffirm the ON TO 2050 plan vision, update data projects, review accomplishments, and reassess transportation needs.
