Anne Sheahan serves as Deputy Chief Operating Officer in the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office. In her role, Sheahan oversees the implementation of strategic mayoral initiatives and policy priorities that support neighborhood sustainability and growth. Prior to joining the Mayor’s Office, she served in other capacities within the City of Chicago, including Managing Deputy Director of the Office of Emergency Management & Communications, where she oversaw Chicago’s 911 and 311 services to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of public safety resources. She was Chief of Staff for the Chicago Department of Streets & Sanitation and held various public affairs roles, as well. She also worked as a media relations consultant at Edelman Chicago focusing on tourism and hospitality business.
Sheahan has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Norbert College and a Master of Arts from Loyola University.
