Anne Sheahan is a vice president at HNTB Corporation, a transportation solutions firm. Prior to joining HNTB, Anne served as first deputy chief of staff and deputy mayor of infrastructure under Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot. In her role as deputy mayor of infrastructure, Sheahan led the development of the Lightfoot administration’s strategic initiatives and policy priorities for Chicago’s infrastructure, transportation, regulatory, and administrative services departments and agencies. Sheahan also served as deputy chief operating officer under the Emanuel administration, where she oversaw the implementation of initiatives that supported neighborhood sustainability and growth.

Prior to joining the mayor’s office, she served in other capacities within the City of Chicago, including roles in the Office of Emergency Management and Communications, the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation, the Chicago Department of Family and Support Services, and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. She also worked as a media relations consultant at Edelman Chicago, focusing on tourism and hospitality business.

Sheahan has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Norbert College and a Master of Arts from Loyola University.
