The Village of Burlington is located at the intersection of Plank Road and Burlington Road in northeastern Kane County. The Village was incorporated in 1906, and is home to approximately 718 residents. Today, the village is known for its small town feel, strong sense of community, and abundant open space. CMAP is currently working with the Village of Burlington to create a new comprehensive plan that will establish a vision for the community’s future, and identify strategies for getting there. Work on the project began in December, 2019, and will last roughly 18 months. More information about the planning process, including opportunities for engagement, will be posted on this page as it becomes available.
