Cicero Comprehensive Plan

Cicero Comprehensive Plan

The Town of Cicero applied to the LTA program in 2012 for a new comprehensive plan. Cicero's last comprehensive plan was adopted in 1974 and that plan no longer speaks to the main local issues. A new comprehensive plan is an important document, a planning tool that outlines a vision for what the community would like to be in the next 10 to 15 years. Specific issues to be addressed by the Plan include land use, commercial areas and neighborhoods, infrastructure and transportation options, economic and business development, housing, parks and open space, and community design and appearance.
