CMAP Public Participation Plan

In accordance with the Federal guidance, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) proposes a documented plan for a meaningful, proactive public involvement process to provide complete and timely information to regional stakeholders. A Public Participation Plan will support early and continuing public involvement in the ON TO 2050 comprehensive regional plan, the Transportation Improvement Program, and other plans and programs. The Plan will also guide initiatives to build understanding of CMAP, its plans, and programs.

 

The draft Public Participation Plan is available for review and comment. All comments are due Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

We welcome your comments. The final version of the Public Participation Plan, reflecting the comments received, will be brought to the CMAP Board for approval at its meeting on June 12, 2019, and the MPO Policy Committee on June 13, 2019.
