The Butterfield Road Corridor Plan, created through CMAP's technical assistance program, is a multi-jurisdictional project in partnership with the villages of Lombard, Downers Grove, and Oak Brook, as well as the DuPage County Department of Transportation. The plan's goals include improving multi-modal transportation options throughout the corridor, improving access to parks and open space, ensuring that the corridor is resilient to changing commercial and office market conditions, and improving quality of life for current and future residents. In January of this year, the corridor plan was finalized based on feedback from the project partners and stakeholder input.
