The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) has released an ON TO 2050 snapshot report, Regional Economy and Clusters: Building on our strengths. The report gives a data-focused update on where our region' economy stands today, how it is performing in relation to its peers, and why our regional industry clusters matter. The report is the first in a series of existing condition snapshot reports and policy-focused strategy papers that will be released leading up to publication of ON TO 2050, the region's next long-term comprehensive plan, in 2018.
