As part of the development of ON TO 2050, the region’s next comprehensive plan, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) has released a new snapshot report on Natural Resources. This report explores the state of the region’s air, land, and water resources. It covers current conditions and trends as well as challenges to our natural resources, with the latter focused on climate change and development. The report provides context to inform the environmental recommendations of ON TO 2050.
