TIP Amendments
The TIP is regularly amended by the Transportation Committee. Amendments for projects not requiring air quality conformity analysis are posted on the committee minutes page for public comment one week prior to being considered. Following committee approval, amendments are forwarded to IDOT for inclusion in the State TIP. An amendment schedule and approval letters are posted here.
Major projects with the potential to have an effect on the region's air quality undergo a semi-annual conformity analysis. These conformity amendments are scheduled for consideration by the MPO Policy Committee in May and October, following at least 30 days of public comment. Additional information is available here.
Current Project List
The project list is current as of the April 27, 2012 CMAP Transportation Committee meeting, and the March 8, 2012 MPO Policy Committee meeting.
Annual Obligation Reports
Each year a report is prepared that summarizes the transportation funds obligated in the region that were programmed in the TIP. Obligations are commitments made by funding agencies to pay out money, and indicate that the project is moving forward.
